For 30 years, I’ve been a coder with a passion for using technology to make life better. But the idea for CareHalo360 came from a personal observation in an assisted living facility. I saw a gap in care—a need for a proactive solution that could help prevent falls and provide immediate alerts. This led to a five-month R&D period in 2022, where we developed an advanced sensor and app to provide real-time alerts to staff.
While many facilities liked the technology, their business models often prioritized finances over proactive care. Not all facilities indeed are this way, and I met many incredible, caring professionals who wanted better for their residents but were constrained by the system. I realized the true mission was not to sell to institutions, but to empower families. A parent's safety shouldn’t be a business decision. It should be in your hands.

As the Executive Director at Bristal Park at Cypress, I was dealing with a couple of residents who were fine during the day but would forget they couldn't get up once they were in their rooms. After we installed the SafeZone sensor, one resident's daughter noticed a significant decline in falls. The family of another resident felt comfortable enough to go on a cruise for the first time in a couple of years because SafeZone was in place. The sensor has been the most valuable part of the system for my team, as it gives them the ability to respond faster and be more efficient without having to do as many checks. I would recommend CareHalo360 because it gives our team members the ability to respond faster. The system also provides us with an extra layer to help prevent falls. It allows us to show better details for periods of getting up when we see a significant decline in a resident.
My name is Kelly Howard, and I am a caregiver for my mom. I have been using a fabulous app from ALF Growth Solutions (now known as CareHalo360) to monitor her when I’m not in the same room. The sensor lets me know when my mom gets out of bed and is no longer in the room. I can even use the video feature to see where she is and make sure she is okay. I have found it to be a wonderful safety feature for caregivers who are concerned about their loved ones. I've really enjoyed working with the company and love the monitoring features they have.
