    General Questions

CareHalo360 helps you know the moment someone falls. A small camera on the wall, called the CareHalo360 Halo, never records video. When a resident or parent falls, the right people get a phone call, a text and a phone notification within seconds. Nobody has to wear anything.

Assisted living and memory care communities that want help to reach residents faster, and families caring for a parent who lives alone. One Halo looks after one room.

    Privacy & Trust

No. The Halo is a camera, but it never records or sends video. It does its thinking right there on the wall. Only at the moment of a fall does it take a blurred picture and send it with the alert. Those pictures are deleted from our server after 2 days, and you can turn them off completely in settings. For more details, visit our Privacy & Trust page.

The camera sees the room like any camera. But the moment it sees a person, the Halo turns them into 17 dots on the body, at the head, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles, and works only with those dots. It does not try to recognize faces or who someone is, and it never records or sends video.

So the person answering knows how serious the fall is, can see if it was a false alarm, and so communities have evidence for the incident report their state requires. Families can see what happened and react. The picture is blurred, taken only at the moment of a fall and deleted from our server after 2 days.
